NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY COUNCIL
CRASTER HISTORY

Following the dissolution of local district councils in 2009, Northumberland is now administered by a unitary authority - the Northumberland County Council.

The main contact for council matters is now County Hall in Morpeth and the Northumberland County Council web site. This web site has a helpful page of maps showing much useful information about the county.

If you are interested in a planning matter in the Alnwick area, the old District Council web site is still in use - Planning in the Alnwick area

Please note: How much you will pay for an 0845 number depends on your telephone provider and the package you are on. If you are with BT 0845 calls are free only during the time frame of your plan. For example, if you are on 'Unlimited Weekend', 0845 calls during the day mid-week must be paid for. It pays to check you own situation.
