1198. Apologies for absence.

1199. Confirmation of minutes of last meeting.

The April Minutes were accepted as a true record.

11200 NWL Sewerage Update.

CC John Taylor declared an interest.

Today the Inspector would have sent his report to the Secretary of State. At the moment we are no further forward with reaching an agreement with NWL & the Inspector may also attach conditions to the granting of the CPO.

Michael Taylor proposed that we wait & see the outcome of the Inspector’s report before we make any decisions or discuss Michael Gibbs letter and in the meantime if NWL make us an offer we will organise a Special Meeting.

All Councillor’s were in favour of this proposal.

1201. Matters arising from minutes of last meeting.

Path improvement from Bark Pots to Whin Hill.

Harry Armstrong will provide an estimate for the cost of putting in an extra wide path suitable for pushchairs & wheelchairs.

Hawthorn bushes in the car park.

They have been pruned.

 Footpath Gates.

The footpath gate near the Old School has been repaired, & the gate near to the bus shelter in Dunstan will be replaced by NCC.

The sink & kerbing by the bus shelter.

CC John Taylor has a Meeting this week to discuss the work required around the bus shelter & to the beach footpath.

Hospice Care donation request.

The WI are planning on hosting a Coffee Morning later in the year in aid of the Hospice.

Bad Parking in Craster.

Action Point: Clerk to write to the Chief Constable concerning the parking problems in Craster and to request the attendance of the Community Police Officer to one of our Meetings.

Mobile Phone Coverage.

Action Point: Clerk to email O2 for the outcome of their engineers realigning their existing antennas in the area to improve our signal.

Windyside Bridge Signage & ditching.

Elizabeth Pearson made nine phone calls to NCC concerning the Bridge & even by her nineth call none of her previous calls had been logged! CC John Taylor will see NCC tomorrow to find out what is planned.

Street Light on Whin Hill.

NCC removed the light because the bottom of the pole was corroded, it should take 5-6 weeks to be replaced.

Cemetery Garden of Remembrance.

The Garden of Remembrance has been completed next to the War Memorial.

CC John Taylor declared an interest.

NCC – 1 Church Street, part change of use. No objections.

1203. Financial Matters.

CC John Taylor’s Meeting.
Michael Taylor & Carol Grey attended the Meeting.

Signage for Tower Bank.
CC John Taylor & Carol Grey will attend a Meeting tomorrow morning to discuss signage & possible white lines for Tower Bank.

Dog Bin Lid.
Joyce Shaw saw a council workman & requested a new dog bin lid for the missing one near the car park – the replacement lid has been fitted.
