1271. Apologies for absence.
Michael Taylor & Pauline Baird.

1272.  Confirmation of minutes of last meeting.
            The March Minutes were accepted as a true record.

1273. Matters arising from minutes of last meeting.

Mobile Phone Mast Update.
Action Point: Clerk to send letters out with tourist & car park figures.

Dunstan Water Leak.
Scott Grey has dug a trench in the field for the water to flow to the roadside.
Action Point: Clerk to contact Richard Hayes at NCC for an update.
 
Council Housing Policy.
The Homes For Northumberland letter is in circulation.

Dunstan Smithy Bank.
The branches have now been pruned back.

Tourist Information Centre Outside Lighting.
Action Point: CC John Taylor will look into this for us.

Grass Verge Outside The Church.
Action Point: Alan will visit the Art Group in the Village Hall to assure them the fencing off will only be temporary measure while the grass repairs.

Overgrown Bushes At The Entrance to Craster.
Done.

Potholes At Proctor Lonnen & Cemetery House.
Proctor Lonnen will be done in stretches.
Action Point: CC John Taylor will deal with the pothole opposite Cemetery House which requires topping up & the large pothole south of the Dunstan Hill entrance.

BT Pole outside The Gallery.
Action Point: Clerk to contact NCC Highways concerning the siting of this pole being a traffic obstruction.

New Chairman & Councillor.
Action Point: Clerk to advertise Councillor vacancies and to put on next month’s agenda.

Sandwich Board & Parking Problem at the Bus Stop.
The sandwich board has been removed from the path behind the bus stop.
Action Point: Clerk to put on next months agenda, CC John Taylor will find out about brown sign posts for local businesses & the rules about how many sandwich boards are allowed.

Double Yellow Lines – All Year Round. 
Michael Robson had taken some photos of cars parked on double yellow lines in Craster and along the road to Dunstan.
Action Point: Clerk to forward the pictures on to Roxy at the Police, Craster Retreat & NCC concerning our request for the yellow lines being enforceable all year round.

NCC – Off Street Parking Places.
Michael Robson declared an interest.
CC John Taylor will attend a meeting tomorrow concerning car parks and parking fines.  There were approximately 50 tickets issued last week to cars parked in the Craster car park, some because they were not parked completely within the lines.
Action Point: A Sub-Committee was created with Michael Craster, Alan Punton & Michael Robson to liase with CC John Taylor concerning possible car parking sites around Craster.  There is a possibility CC John Taylor will be able to allocate some money towards the project.

1274. NWL Sewerage Update & Financial Allocation.

Action Point: Clerk to put the Financial Allocation on the next Meetings Agenda when Michael Taylor will be present.

1275.  Planning Matters.

CC John Taylor declared an interest.
4 Sea View, Dunstan – planning permission. Noted.

Coast Guard Rescue Station.
Action Point: Clerk to contact NCC concerning the planned access being unsuitable due to the lack of visibility for the traffic on the road through Arch.
 
16 Whin Hill – Loft conversion & balcony window. In circulation.

1276.  Financial Matters.
Bank Balance:                      £4,200.69
            + First ½ Precept due in      £2,500.00

NCC General Election 6th May. Noted.

1278. A.O.B.

Disabled Kerbing Stones on the path from the Harbour towards The Jolly Fisherman.
Action Point: Clerk to contact NCC concerning the new stone next to the harbour entrance being too close to the wall & unusable by either wheelchairs or pushchairs.

Car Park Refuse Bins.
Action Point: Clerk to contact NCC concerning the removal of the paper/tins bin from the car park to cut costs & request a larger refuse bin since they also removed another bin because of the amount of times it was required to be emptied.
 
NCC Highways Area Manager.
NCC Highways Area Manager is hoping to attend May’s Meeting.
