1254. Apologies for absence.
Carol Grey & Michael Taylor.

1255.  Confirmation of minutes of last meeting.
The January Minutes were accepted as a true record.

1256. Matters arising from minutes of last meeting.
Mobile Phone Mast Update.
There were approximately 52,000 people who used the Craster Tourist Information Centre last year and they also received 680 phone calls.
Action Point: Clerk to enquire how many people visited Dunstanburgh Castle last year.
  
Dunstan Water Leak.
Action Point: Joan Angus will speak to Mrs Thompson & Michael Craster will speak to Mr Grey concerning changing the water’s route to the road.

Dog Bin for Dunstan.
The dog bin is ordered.

Holiday Homes Bins.
NCC Waste Collection Dept. will look into the matter of the holiday home bins.
 
Councillor Interest Forms.
Awaiting the return of two forms.

Council Housing Policy.
Action Point: Clerk to write a letter of support for the policy to NCC and Homes For Northumberland.

Car Park Scam Notice.
The people responsible were arrested in Durham.
 
Council Tax Payers in Craster Parish.
Awaiting a reply from NCC.

Sewerage in burn.
Alan Punton has checked the burn & the sewerage has been washed away.

Barbed wire at the Black Hole.
Awaiting a reply from NCC.

Bad Parking.
A letter has been received from Coastal Retreats & they will continue to remind their guests to use the car park when necessary.

Burial Board Meeting.
At the Burial Board Meeting it was agreed for the Chairman to speak to the Caretaker concerning the earthmover tracks over graves.

Dunstan Smithy Bank.
Awaiting a reply from NCC.

Car Park Grit Box.
NCC are looking into the supply of a grit box for the car park.
Action Point: Clerk to request another one at the bottom of Heugh Wynd next to the playpark.

Tourist Information Centre.
Action Point: Clerk to enquire whether NCC will fit lights with movement sensors.

1257. NWL Sewerage Update.

Action Point: Clerk to give all Councillors a copy of NWL ‘Land At Craster South Licence To Occupy’ to read & to contact Michael Craster with any concerns.            

1258. Planning Matters.

CC John Taylor declared an interest.
4 Sea View, Dunstan – loft conversion. No objections.
19 Heugh Wynd – planning permission. Noted.
2 Tha Dairy Dunstan Steads – Refusal appeal. Noted.

Alnmouth Station Open Day.
The station is holding an Open Day on the 22nd where people can make a complaint about train travel problems.

Craster Cultural Exchange.
Rosie Robson was thanked for organising the event, which was a great success & very interesting for both the visitors & locals.

Grass Verge Outside The Church.
Action Point: CC John Taylor will organise getting the area fenced off for the grass to be repaired.
Overgrown Bushes At The Entrance to Craster.
Action Point: Joyce Shaw has contacted John Walton at the National Trust to cut the bushes back so the seat can be used safely.

Potholes At Proctor Lonnen & Cemetery House.
Action Point: Clerk to contact NCC concerning the potholes.
