1238. Apologies for absence

1239. Confirmation of minutes of last
meeting.
The Minutes for the October Meeting were accepted as a
true record.
1240. Matters arising from minutes of last
meeting.
Path improvement from Bark Pots to Whin Hill
The work is scheduled to start at the end of November.
Dunstan Water Leak.
An email has been received from Sale & Partners concerning the
water leak.
Dog Bin for Dunstan.
The landowner has agreed to a dog bin being placed next to the field in
the centre of Dunstan.
Action Point: Clerk to order a post
mounted dog bin from NCC.
Problem with the Ladies Public Toilets &
Holiday Homes Bins.
CC John Taylor will see if it’s possible to get a copy of the service
agreement for the toilets.
Action Point: Clerk will write to NCC concerning the bins
being left out on the street waiting to be emptied & put away.
Dunstan Bus Timetable.
Action Point: Alan Punton will check to see if the timetable
is in date & contact the Clerk who will write to NCC if a new one
is required.
Police Crackdown on Speeding & Bad Parking.
PC Roxy Bird is continuing to visit Craster to check on our parking
problems.
Mobile Phone Mast Update.
Action Point: Clerk to write to Sir Alan Beith requesting his
support for better mobile phone coverage in Craster.
Councillor Interest Forms
Forms to be posted off to NCC.
Arriva Double Decker Buses on the Windyside
Bridge Road.
Action Point: Clerk to write to NCC requesting single deck
buses to operate north of Alnwick, which will then be able to travel
via Howick again. A copy to be sent to Howick Gardens requesting
their support.
Council Housing Policy.
CC John Taylor has serious concerns over the Letting Policy. Next
Tuesday he will attend a Board Meeting concerning affordable housing,
where he will try and get local people prioritised for the available
homes in their area.
Highway Priority Wish List.
The main route requiring work is from West Farm down by Windyside
Bridge to the crossroads.
1241. NWL Sewerage Update.
Andrew Pinney is chasing NWL who are dragging their heels in the
negotiations.
1242. Planning Matters.
2 Dunstan Steads – porch/entrance lobby. No
objections.
