1230. Apologies for absence.

Rosie Robson, Michael Taylor & Michael Craster.

1231. Confirmation of minutes of last meeting.

The September Minutes were accepted as a true record.

1232. Matters arising from minutes of last meeting.

Path improvement from Bark Pots to Whin Hill.

We now have permission from Craster Estates to upgrade the path, the work is scheduled for the end of November.

The sink & kerbing by the bus shelter & coastal path.

The work is now complete & the double yellow lines will be re-painted shortly.

Windyside Bridge Signage & ditching.

NCC are not prepared to widen the road for larger vehicles, & the road on the north side of the bridge will be repaired in next years Council budget.

Street Light on Whin Hill.

The new light has been done.

National Trust parking.

An email has been received from the National Trust who will be mindful of their parking.

Dunstan Water Leak.

Action Point: Clerk to email Mr R Landale at Sale & Partners & CC John Taylor to find out who will be liable for damages caused by the leaking water.

Dog Bin for Dunstan.

Action Point: Carol Grey will talk to the landowner of the field opposite the bus stop concerning siting a dog bin by the fence.

Seat Painting.

Alan Punton has painted the outdoor seats.

Problem with the Ladies Public Toilets & Holiday Homes Bins.

Action Point: Carol Grey will talk to Billy Pringle from NCC.

Dunstan Bus Timetable.

Ongoing.

Police Crackdown on & Speeding & Bad Parking.

Action Point: Clerk to contact the Police about the parking on double yellow lines at the bottom of Whin Hill.

Mobile Phone Mast Update.

Ongoing.

Councillor Interest Forms

Action Point: Clerk to post the completed forms & forward the remaining ones next month.

1233. NWL Sewerage Update.

Ongoing – no recent developments.

1234. Planning Matters.

Approvals – 11 Haven Hill & 3 Dunstanburgh Road. Noted.

2 Dunstan Steads –porch/entrance lobby. In circulation.

1235. Financial Matters.

The Annual Return was approved and accepted by the Council.

Bank Balance: £6,802.79

Cheques required:

Burial Board £ 657.50

BDO Stoy Hayward £ 57.50

Paint etc outdoor seats £ 176.99

1236. Correspondence received.

CAN – Meet the funders 9 th Nov. In circulation.

War Memorials Trust – Conderence 2 nd Dec. In circulation.

Affordable Rural Housing Challenge – 21 st Oct. In circulation.

NALC – Policy & Partiamentary Consultation. In circulation.

Signage on pavement. CC John Taylor will look into signage.

NALC – Electoral Review. In circulation.

NALC AGM, CAN News, People & Places. In circulation.

Northumberland Wildlife Trust – donation request.

Michael Robson declared an interest. Alan Punton proposed a £50 donation, which was seconded by Joyce Shaw. This was unanimously agreed by all the Councillors.

Action Point: £50.00 cheque donation.

1237. A.O.B.

Double Decker Buses on the Windyside Bridge Road.

Action Point: Clerk to write to Arriva requesting they review the policy of using double decker buses on the Coastal Route, NCC are currently repairing the damage caused by larger vehicles.

Council Housing Policy.

Action Point: Clerk to write to Mr MacLacland at Homes for Northumberland concerning two Craster residents who were told that neither of them are eligible for a house/bungalow in Craster because they are all two or three bedroomed, single people can only apply for one bedroom flats.

Highway Priority Wish List.

Action Point: CC John Taylor would like to hear what our Highway priorities are at the November Meeting.
