1447.  Apologies for absence.

1448. Confirmation of minutes of last meeting.
The March Minutes were accepted as a true record.

1449.  NWL Sewerage Update.
Action Point:
Clerk to contact Charles Harman to liase with Michael Robson concerning the hand over, second goalpost & parking on the South Acres site entrance.

1450.  Craster Community Trust Matters.
The Village Hall re-furbishment will start shortly & the Hall will need to be emptied. 
The memorial picnic table donated by Mrs P Addy for the play park will be installed this coming week.
At present no one is running the village website.
The Diamond Jubilee Beacon will be sited on Burn Hill and lit on the national event day, the commemorative tree (possibly an oak) will be planted ½ way down the lonnen at the back of the Bark Pots & a new commemorative seat was also discussed.
All were in favour.
Action Point: Clerk to write to the residents at 9 & 11 Whin Hill to warn them of the potential risk of damage to their cars by large contractors vehicles manoeuvring outside the Hall entrance when the work begins.

1451.  Parking Sub Committee Update.
Michael Craster explained that the National Trust has walked away from the parking problem discussions, Scott Grey is keen to develop the field for parking, but NCC will not take an active interest until 2013. 
The Committee’s discussions are still ongoing with CC John Taylor.

1452.  Neighbourhood Plan Sub Committee.
Margaret Brooks & Bryn Owen attended a training course on Neighbourhood Planning - David English has advised us to do a letter drop.  We will need to consult with everyone who has ties to Craster, which will be difficult during the holiday season.  Firstly we need to draw up the reasons why we need a Parish Plan; the Sub Committee will hold another meeting shortly.

1453.  Matters arising from minutes of last meeting.
Dunstan Water Leak.
  Ongoing & NCC will carry out repairs to road.
Mr M Robson – NCC have removed the fencing from the inner car park.

CC John Taylor has been emailing Mr Garnick @ NCC each month & it is on the to-do list but not classed as a priority.
Bushes from Craster Arch to the crossroads. They have now been pruned.
Signage for Tower Bank to highlight the dangers.
Mick Oxley – Official Business Signage.
Sign for Dunstanburgh Road ‘Castle – Walking Only’.

CC John Taylor has requested that we decide which signage is necessary & which is not. 
Parking on double yellow lines is being targeted at present with fines & the Highways Dept is aware of the signage problem at the crossroads.
Action Point: The Parking Sub Committee will take on the signage problem.
Bus Timetables for Dunstan & Craster West End bus stop.
The west end bus stop timetable is still to be replaced.
Footpath from South Acres Pumping Station to the style gate.
Action Point:
Clerk to email the Footpaths Officer.
Village Hall Refurbishment.  Work will start shortly.
NCC – Dunstan Steads request to move from Craster to Embleton Parish.
Ongoing.
Dog fouling on pathway by Church & Hall.
Action Point:
Clerk to email NCC.

1454.  Planning Matters.
CC JohnTaylor declared an interest.

11/02793/FUL – Dunstan Steads Farm plans & amendments.

11/03278/FUL – Jolly Fisherman.

1455.  Financial Matters.

1456.             Correspondence received.
Archaeology in Northumberland.
  In circulation.
AONB – Overhead Electricity Cables.
Councillors have contacted Mel Nicolls concerning any within the Craster area.
NCC – Review of public rescue equip. & signage 2011-12.
In circulation & RNLI will speak to Joyce.
CAN News March 2012.  In circulation.
M Robson – Cyclists using the coastal path.
Action Point:
Clerk to email the Footpaths Officer.
J Gallon – Parish Council PAYE.
Clerk waiting to hear from HMRC.
Age Concern – allotment waiting list.
Action Point:
Clerk to let them know we have no allotments.
J Gallon parking on footpath at harbour.
Action Point:
Clerk to forward emails onto CC John Taylor & let Mr Tagger know that the matter has been discussed & passed onto our County Councillor.
Mrs E Pearson – Heugh Road water leak.
Action Point:
CC John Taylor will deal with this.
The Haven/Coquet View boundary.
Action Point:
Michael Craster will draft a letter to send to the Land Registry for clarification of property boundaries.
Embleton Joint Burial Committee Update.
Alan Punton is now the Chairman.  The iron gates have been replaced & new whinstone gravel laid at the entrance.  A new water pump has been purchased & the cutter has been repaired rather than replaced.  Still to do is the porch repairs & the house interior wall problems.
