1376. Apologies for absence. None.

1377. Confirmation of minutes of last meeting.

The Minutes were accepted as a true record with one amendment to 1373:-

 A/2008/0289 – Former Nursery Gardens – amendments. Ongoing. The hedge from the proposed development onto Heugh Wynd has been cut back to its original line.

1378. NWL Sewerage Update.
NWL will check the Craster South pipe as it appears to be discharging raw sewerage.
The Council will wait until the landscaping work has been completed before contacting NWL with any concerns.
An email has been received from NWL in response to our concerns about the damaged road surfaces in Craster; they don’t feel this has been made worse by their heavy traffic.
Action Point: Clerk to forward email on to CC John Taylor.
Action Point: Clerk to arrange a site visit for Michael Robson & John Gallon to meet Charles Harman from NWL.

Action Point: Alan Punton will check the rubbish site near Howick Scar Farm where the NWL vehicle burnt out.

1379. Craster Community Trust Matters.
There were no matters to discuss.

1380. Matters arising from minutes of last meeting.
Housing – Residential & Tourist. NCC are looking into empty properties at the moment.

Craster Sea Erosion. NWL will repair the footpath before it re-opens.  CC John Taylor is on the Rights of Way Committee, which is looking into upgrading the coastal walk.

Dunstan Water Leak. CC John Taylor has met with the Highways Dept. and until the landowner identifies the source of the water there is nothing they can do. 
Action Point: CC John Taylor will organise a site visit with Richard Landale from Sale & Partners, Joan Angus & Joyce Shaw will attend.
 
Mr J Gallon – footway along the west harbour wall & broken pipe. Ongoing.

Mr M Robson Overhanging branches in inner car park & removed fencing.
Action Point: CC John Taylor will chase these up.

Parking Sub Committee Update. Another Meeting will be organised shortly.

Review of Local Services. The Meeting with NCC has now been organised.

Craster Outside Seats. They were last painted in Oct/Nov 2010, Anthony Baird will re-do them shortly.

Norwell Brow overhanging bushes.
Action Point: Clerk to provide CC John Taylor with the addresses.

1381. Planning Matters.
A/2010/0437 – Dunstan Steads Farm Buildings. Ongoing.
A/2008/0289 – Former Nursery Gardens – amendments. Ongoing.
A/2011/0581 – 32 Heugh Road entrance hallway & porch to front & side of dwelling. Ongoing.
A/2010/0402 – 3 Smithy Court (reserved matters) In circulation.

1382. Financial Matters.

Bank Balance £9,445.16

LTSB Int. Dep. Acc. £10,000.00

Cheques required:-

NALC Subs cheque  £59.89

Annual Return. Both the Annual Return Accounting Statements & the Annual Governance Statement were approved by the Council.

1383. Correspondence received.

            NCC – Review of Polling Districts & Polling Places. In circulation.
Action Point: CC John Taylor will find out if Copley Hall in Howick is in Craster or Longhoughton District.

            NCC – Customer Satisfaction Survey. Completed at the Meeting.

            LOVE Northumberland Awards 2011. Noted.

NCC – Planning Training Events.  Bryn Owen & Pauline Baird are hoping to attend.

            Craster Towers – Solar Panels.
            Action Point: Clerk to put on the Agenda for the next Meeting.

Well Style Footpath.
Action Point: Clerk to put on the Agenda for the next Meeting.

Pothole ½ mile from Craster crossroads to West Farm.
Action Point: Clerk to email NCC.

Embleton Joint Burial Committee.
Concerns have been received about the grass cuttings clinging to headstones, dog mess & glass vases on graves.  The Chairman – Mr George Skipper has resigned due to ill health.
