1408. Apologies for absence.

1409. Confirmation of minutes of last meeting.

The October Minutes were accepted as a true record.

1410. NWL Sewerage Update.
NWL will monitor the access to the South Acres site & if they do find difficulty accessing it they will look to installing bollards/barriers.
Charles has passed our email ref. Sealed manhole covers for Heugh Road on to their Technical Support Team.

1411. Craster Community Trust Matters.

The next CCT meeting is Wednesday night & the Queens Diamond Jubilee Beacons will be on the Agenda.

1412. Parking Sub Committee Update. No update to report this month.

1413. Matters arising from minutes of last meeting.
Housing – Residential & Tourist. No items this month.

Dunstan Water Leak.
The grass verge is being dug up & NCC will look to re-surfacing the road.

Mr J Gallon – harbour chain fence. The chain fence has not yet been done.

Mr M Robson removed fencing from the inner car park. NCC – ongoing.
 
New Rubbish Bins.
Action Point: Michael Robson, John Gallon & Bryn Owen will look at Craster & Dunstan & decide where bins will be well situated & if any need to be moved.
 
Craster Outside Seats. The seats have now been done.

Potholes.
Action Point: Clerk to contact NCC about the pot holes & verge damage from Craster Pillars to West Farm, the bus stop on the north side & Little Mill crossroads.

Mr J Gallon – Grit Bin opposite Dunstanburgh Road.
The grit bin has been done.
 
Mrs P Addy – Memorial Seat in Craster.
Alan Punton contacted Mrs Addy suggesting putting a picnic table in the playpark.

Mr B Owen – Parish Council Memorial Seat Policy.
The Parish Council thanked Bryn for creating his paper.
There are already 13 seats at the harbour, 4 up the village, 2 at the play area, 1 at Cullernose Point, 1 at Craster Pillars & 1 in the castle field.
The Parish Council were in agreement that there are enough seats in Craster.
Action Points:  Michael Robson will speak to the Wildlife Trust about seats on their land.
Clerk will contact Mr G Saunders suggesting putting a picnic table in the playpark.

Elizabeth Pearson – Damaged bus stop bin & storm drain/road surface at the bus shelter in Craster.
The Clerk has emailed pictures to Terry Garnick at NCC.

Bushes from Craster Arch to the crossroads.
Action Point: Michael Craster will prune back the bushes on his property & the Clerk will contact Neil Findley about the Cottage Inn side.

Team for snow clearing.
Alan Punton, Michael Robson & Richard Pearson will help in Craster & Bryn Owen will look out for Smithy Bank at Dunstan.
Action Point: CC John Taylor will look into signage for Tower Bank to highlight the dangers.

Rota for visiting the elderly during bad weather. Adam at Moodys shop did an excellent job last year looking after the elderly.

Parking in the middle of Dunstan on the common field side of the road.
The only option open for residents is to take the date, time & vehicle registration & contact Alnwick police station.

The Methodist Chapel - for sale. Noted.

Travelling Expenses for Councillors attending events.
The Inland Revenue recommend 45p per mile all were in favour. Bryn Owen will create a form to use when claiming.

1414. Planning Matters.

CC John Taylor declared an interest.
A/2008/0289 – Former Nursery Gardens – amendments. Ongoing

11/01223/FUL – 3 Church Street first floor holiday accomodation amendments. Pending.

11/02793/FUL – Dunstan Steads Farm plans.
The plans are in circulation and the Clerk has received approximately 12 objection letters/emails, which she will put into circulation also.
It was agreed that no decision could be taken regarding the plans until all the Councillors had seen the plans & letters.
A Meeting will be organised for 7pm on Wednesday 30th November at the Village Hall to discuss this plan further.  Mr Gaston, the objectors & Embleton Parish Council will all be invited to attend and each group will be given 10 minutes to put their points across.  The Parish Council will then ask questions before closing the Meeting so that they can complete their deliberations in private with no public present.

1415. Financial Matters.
Bank Balance  £10,543.80

LTSB Int. Dep. Acc. £10,000.00

A decision about leaving the £10,000.00 in the LTSB Dep. Acc. Will be required at the January Meeting.
The VAT refund has been applied for     £88.08

NALC AGM & Annual Report. Noted.

CAN AGM & Annual Report. Noted.

AONB – Vacancy for Alnwick District Parish Councillor. Noted.

NCC – Mobile Library Service.
Action Point: Clerk to give Joyce Shaw’s address to NCC for any posters etc to go up on the board.

NALC – Increase in Subscriptions. Noted.

NCC – Polling District & Polling Place Review.  In circulation.
