1507.         Apologies for absence. Pauline Baird & Michael Robson.

1508.         Confirmation of minutes of last meeting.
The September Minutes were accepted as a true record.


1509.         Craster Community Trust Matters.
Hopefully the Village Hall refurbishment will be completed by the end of January.

1510.         Parking Sub Committee Update.
Leader have turned down the funding bid but they may consider the full parking plan.  It was decided to return this item to the full Council Meetings & continue to share out the workload created.

1511.         Neighbourhood Plan Sub Committee.
It was decided to return this item to the full Council Meetings  continue to share out the workload created.
Action Point: CC John Taylor is organising a Meeting concerning Neighbourhood Plans to include Craster, Embleton & Newton.

1512.     Matters arising from minutes of last meeting.

Dunstan Water Leak.
CC John Taylor has been discussing this with Sale & Partner as the water is running down the village & into the field.


NCC – Dunstan Steads request to move from Craster to Embleton Parish.
We are still waiting for written confirmation from the Legal Dept. at NCC. 

Land Registry enquiry & Dunstan School.
Michael Craster confirmed that there is no Craster family connection or interest with Craster School as it was built on Howick Estates land.


Public Footpath by the Church between Heugh Wynd & Whin Hill No25.
The NCC Meeting concerning this footpath will be held in November.


Marion Gallon – Electricity Substation obstructed by shrubbery.
Clerk has emailed Scottish Power.

Tower Bank & Tourist Information Centre – road flooding.
Michael Robson - Overgrown verge between car park & harbour.
CC John Taylor advised the Council that ADC used to have 14 workmen for North Northumberland, now under NCC there are 3.
With all the rain we’ve had recently these 3 workmen are dealing with major flood problems, so it will be a while before they can look at other issues.


Margaret Brooks - changes to bus times.
CC John Taylor is looking into this.


1513.         Planning Matters. CC John Taylor declared an interest.
A/2008/0289 – Former Nursery Gardens – amendments. Ongoing.
12/02678/FUL – Coastguard Rescue Station. In circulation.


1514.     Financial Matters.
Bank Balance                     £22,473.61
£15,000 to be transferred to LTSB Higher interest account.
Cheques required:
Burial Committee    £811.53
Howick Hall hire    £  10.00

The Jubilee oak tree is estimated at £100 - all were in favour for Michael Craster to purchase one.

1515.     Correspondence received.
SLCC – Neighbourhood Planning in Northumberland Presentation. Noted.

NCC Parish Council Elections 2013 Briefing Paper. In circulation.
AONB – Sept Minutes. In circulation.
NALC AGM 20/10/12. In circulation.

Mrs E Pearson – White Road Markings.
CC John Taylor checked with NCC & the transport regulation states that no white lines will be painted down the centre of a road when the narrowest part is 5.6 metres or less.  Tower Bank is too narrow.
NCC will be repainting the white lines shortly & they will do the bottom of the hill & install a warning sign highlighting the narrow road.

Chapel Row – water leak.
NWL has dug up the road but the leak is not mains - its water off the fields.
