1498.    Apologies for absence.
Bryn Owen, Michael Craster, John Gallon & Pauline Baird.

1499.    Confirmation of minutes of last meeting.
Both the July Minutes & the August LDF Minutes were accepted as a true record.

1500.    Craster Community Trust Matters.
A letter has been received from the Secretary of the CCT concerning the delays to the Village Hall refurbishment.  Joyce Shaw advised the Council that they hope to begin work around the 27th September.

1501.    Parking Sub Committee Update.
Michael Craster circulated a paper concerning the recent site visit to the field car park.
Hopefully we will be able to secure funding for the meter, the prices charged will mirror the NCC owned car park in the quarry & the field will remain grassed this year and closed each night to prevent abuse.
Michael Robson was concerned about the safety of the field access, which has already been approved by Highways.
Action Point: Clerk to defer any decisions to next months Meeting concerning this car park.
CC John Taylor advised the Council that Highways Engineer has been looking at their quarry car park & plan to re-paint the lines & create more spaces.  They also have been ticketing cars in Craster parked on the double yellow lines, he will take the two letters & photos from Mr K Brown back to NCC concerning the parking problems.
Action Point: CC John Taylor will look into residential parking discs - 2 per household, he suggested the Parish Council could organise this.

1502.    Neighbourhood Plan Sub Committee.
NCC – Core Strategy Workshops (25/09 Stannington Village Hall 7pm-9pm & 22/10 Ferguson Hall Belford 7pm-9pm).
Action Point: CC John Taylor is going to organise a smaller Meeting for the Parish Councils he covers with Jenny Ludman to discuss Parish Plans, he will forward the details on to us as soon as organised.

1503.     Matters arising from minutes of last meeting.
Dunstan Water Leak.
The road re-surfacing is still to do & there is water standing in the common field.
Action Point: CC John Taylor & Joan Angus will meet with the farmer.

NCC – Dunstan Steads request to move from Craster to Embleton Parish.
The creation of the order is still with NCC Legal Department.
 
Mrs E Pearson – Heugh Road water leak. The water leak has currently dried up.
 
Land Registry enquiry. 
Action Point: Clerk to put on the Agenda for the next Meeting.

The Methodist Church Sale.
It was agreed to remove this item from the Agenda as nothing is currently happening.

Public Footpath by the Church between Heugh Wynd & Whin Hill No25.
This will be up before the Rights of Way Committee Meeting in November, any further facts or evidence should be forwarded to NCC Sustainable Transport, Local Services, County Hall, Morpeth NE61 1BR as soon as possible.

Dunstan School.
Action Point: Clerk to put on the Agenda for the next Meeting.

Marion Gallon – Electricity Substation obstructed by shrubbery.
CC John Taylor raised this with NCC, but they will not be tidying it up.

Tourist Information Centre – road flooding.
Action Point: CC John Taylor will arrange for NCC to put a camera down the drains to look at this problem.
 
1504.    Planning Matters.
CC John Taylor declared an interest.
A/2008/0289 – Former Nursery Gardens – amendments.  Ongoing.

1505.     Financial Matters.
Bank Balance                     £22,838.96
Transfer funds to LTSB Higher interest transfer – defer to next Meeting.

Archaeology in Northumberland. Noted.
NCC – Briefing on grass cutting. Noted.
NCC – Don’t stand for it – dog fouling campaign. Noted.
NCC – Code of Conduct & Standards Regime. Noted.
NCC – Communities & Place Scrutiny Committee Meeting. Noted.
NCC – Joint Meeting 8/10 Morpeth or 11/10 Berwick. Noted.
AONB – Joint Annual Forum 2012 – 18/10 Berwick. Noted.
NALC – AGM 20/10 Morpeth. Noted.
John Gallon – Bank Holiday weekend parking problems.
CC John Taylor is liasing with NCC over Crasters parking problems.
Michael Robson - Overgrown verge between car park & harbour.
The verge is overgrown on the south side of the road into Craster between the car park entrance & harbour hill, its obstructing the easterly view for cars pulling out of the car park.
Action Point: Clerk to email NCC.
Margaret Brooks - changes to bus times.
The new bus times is making it very difficult for anyone from Craster to go to Embleton for a doctors appointment without having to stay in Embleton for ½ the day.
Action Point: CC John Taylor will look into this for us.
