Jackie Baird, overall winner and best in show 2009

The Craster Leek Club is a longstanding feature of the village and its annual show in September is an important fixture in the village's diary. While leeks take centre stage, the show involves a wide range of categories, including onions, flowers, baking and photographs. Last year's annual competition and show was a great success and a vote of thanks was given to Hughie and Jackie Baird for their hard work over the year on the Club's behalf. The following shows the top ten finishers in the 2009 leek competition:
