Report of Meeting held in November 2011

This was our annual meeting so after the secretary had briefly presented current business in which a request ws made for help at our Cancer Coffee Morning the outgoing treasurer Gill Twyford presented the accounts and the financial statement was adopted. The secretary then presented a resume of the past year and this was followed by a motivational address from the president after which the report was adopted and the WI advisor Prudence Marks took the chair. She gave a short speech outlining in particular the success of County Day. She was complimentary about our WI and informed us that we seemed a lively bunch.
